FPC Progressive Safety Gear (Parachute Brake)
The FPC safety brake is an overspeed-triggered protection system designed for vertical transport. It engages exclusively when the descent speed exceeds a pre-calibrated threshold, arresting the platform’s movement in a cushioned and progressive manner. It is the global engineering standard for preventing free-fall accidents in industrial lifts and hoists.
EC Centrifugal Brake
Engineered for passive speed control, the EC brake intervenes autonomously during motor failure or loss of descent control. Operating purely on centrifugal force, it requires no external power source, making it the ideal fail-safe component for ensuring a constant, controlled descent speed during emergency gravity drops.
DBQ Centrifugal Brake
The DBQ model merges the reliability of centrifugal braking with superior operational versatility. While it limits descent speed during motor faults, it features a strategic manual override capability, allowing the brake to be disabled when specific manoeuvres are required. It perfectly balances automated safety with technical flexibility.
FNB Negative Pneumatic Brake
The FNB brake operates on the fail-safe principle: braking is applied via spring pressure and released only when pneumatic pressure is present. Pneumatic brakes use compressed air as the driving medium, which gives them an important advantage: the braking torque is proportional to the pressure applied.
The FNA pneumatic brake is a positive brake for horizontal shaft work, very reliable and with good heat dissipation, fast response speed and minimum residual torque.
